Field Sales Representative

Los Angeles, CA. On the ground, in person · Flexible contract work, on your own schedule

We make sparkling tea, and it sells when someone walks into a shop and puts a can in a buyer's hand. That is this job. You will own a patch of Los Angeles, covering cafes, grocers, markets, gyms and wellness studios. Get Orcha onto their shelves, and keep those doors reordering.

What it pays

20% commission

On the order volume of every account credited to you, for as long as it keeps ordering, not just on the first order. Opening a door that reorders monthly pays you every month. This is the main way the job pays.

$25 / hour on demos

For scheduled in-store demos, paid on the hours of the demo itself. This is not an hourly wage for all your time: prospecting, follow-ups and the doors you open on your own schedule are paid through commission.

Demo expenses covered

Costs tied to a demo, agreed with us before you spend: product to pour, parking, anything the demo itself needs. Pre-agreed so nobody is guessing afterwards about what gets reimbursed.

What you'd do

  • Walk into independent cafes, grocers, markets, gyms and wellness studios and pitch Orcha to whoever buys.
  • Drop samples, follow up, and close the first order.
  • Keep your own doors reordering. The commission is on repeat volume, so the relationship is the job, not the first sale.
  • Log what happened in each door, so the next conversation starts where the last one ended.
  • Tell us what you are hearing. Which flavour moves, what price objections come up, which neighbourhoods work.

What we need from you

  • You are comfortable walking into a business you have no appointment with and asking for the buyer.
  • You can handle being told no, repeatedly, without it changing how you show up at the next door.
  • Based in or around Los Angeles, with a car and a valid licence.
  • Reachable and organised: you keep your own follow-ups and turn up when you said you would.
  • Legally able to work in the US as an independent contractor.

Helpful, not required

  • You have sold food or drink to independent retail before, and know what a category buyer cares about.
  • You already know shop owners in LA and can start with a phone call rather than a cold walk-in.
  • You care about what you are selling. You drink it, and you can say why it is good without a script.

Perks

  • As much Orcha as you can drink, plus product to share.
  • Your own patch and your own schedule. You decide which doors to work and when.
  • Direct line to the founders. No layers between what you hear on the street and what we do about it.
  • Get in early on a young brand where the doors you open are visibly yours.

Apply

Attach a resume and tell us why. It goes straight to the founders. There is no recruiter in between.

Everything except the last question is required.
